I have experience of assisting a lady in her 90s in her own home. I held this position for 3 years, doing 24 hours shifts. She had dementia and my duties involved personal care, accompanying her on family visits, making and taking her to appointments, administering medication, making light meals, tidying house, assisting with toileting, communicating regularly with her family, washing & ironing and other duties.
